Urban Biodiversity Project

Victoria is losing its biological diversity at a disturbing rate.  KVB through the assistance of a Myer Foundation grant are building a new biodiversity project for Victoria. We are partnering with Melbourne University and other like-minded organisations who understand the importance of safe guarding our biodiversity.

This report is one of the first deliverables of Keep Victoria Beautiful’s (KVB) Myer Foundation Grant program: Building Keep Victoria Beautiful’s capacity through the design and development of measurable and practical urban biodiversity programs. This report considers urban biodiversity issues in Victoria, considers current policies and programs, and considers possible funding models. From this study KVB will develop a new urban biodiversity program and trial the new program.
